Technical Experiences:

   ·   Principal investigator of a research project on searching and indexing of speech data in educational videos (Audio Indexing & Searching through an Instructional video), funded by IT Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), 2007-2009.

   ·   Participating in the review process of  the technical specifications of Ground-Station SCADA of DSERT-SAT (Egyptian satellite for remote sensing) -  Agency of Remote Sensing 2004. 

   ·   Development of computer-based process control for the coke calciner at the Aluminum Company of Egypt, 1991-93, and its upgrade in 2002 using RS-view and upgraded PCs to cope with Y2K problem.

   ·    Design and implementation of an Arabic  Speech  Recognition System for Handicapped Assistance, Project 8021, FRCU,   Cairo Univ.  1983-1985

   ·   Designing and supervising the installation of many SCADA systems at  the Aluminum Company of Egypt (EGYPTALUM), the Arab Ceramic Company  (ARACEMCO), North Cairo mills and International-Electronics company.

   ·   Design and  implementation  of  many  Data  Acquisition and Analysis  Systems (DAS), both software and hardware, in different labs at the faculties of Science  and  Engineering,  Cairo, Ain-Shams, AL-Azhar universities  and   Military    Factory-18, Abou-Zaabal.
